The festive season is our busiest time of year, as the mission to get people off the streets or - avoid ending up on the streets in the first place - becomes even more critical as the long, cold nights draw in and temperatures drop to life-threatening levels.
This year, the pandemic creates added complications as our team works hard to ensure that anyone coming to HARP for health can stay healthy on their journey to overcoming homelessness.
But you can help us! By making a donation or fundraising for HARP you will be helping us to empower more people to escape or avoid life on the streets. You’ll find more details below.
Making a donation towards our Christmas Appeal is the quickest way to make a contribution to our work helping local people to overcome homelessness for good. A one-off donation can help keep someone off the streets this Christmas, while a regular gift will help people to escape or avoid homelessness throughout the year.
Rally your friends and family to raise vital funds for our work. Whether you get sponsored to take on a challenge, host a virtual gig or an online afternoon tea, raised funds just by doing your Christmas shopping online, or simply set up a Facebook fundraiser, your fundraising activities can provide some winter sunshine to people in need.
Bring your team together virtually or in person for some festive fun that makes a difference throughout December. We’ve got plenty of ideas for you from Festive Fridays to virtual Christmas decoration competitions, to Christmas quizzes, so see what takes your fancy.
