Are you passionate about supporting people out of homelessness?
HARP is Southend-on-Sea’s leading homelessness charity. On average we help around 1,000 local people every year to overcome or avoid homelessness. In addition to providing essential short-term emergency accommodation, food, clothing and washing facilities, we work to identify the root causes of homelessness, creating tailored support for each person’s circumstances. We achieve success by providing structure, purpose and training opportunities, and also by providing longer-term supported housing, empowering people to take steps to leave homelessness behind and ultimately live independently in the community.
You will be joining HARP at an exciting time, as we embark on delivering against a new five-year strategy we are moving into an ambitious time of consolidation, we striving for excellence across the services we offer by investing into our practices, people, property and place.
We are looking for someone with all round experience of developing a team, developing and delivering on an income generation strategy that has excellent ROI. Also, someone with the vision and creativity to translate the work we do operationally into campaigns that raise awareness, builds our brand and generates support both within and beyond Southend on Sea.
