Salary: Point 3, £6,736 rising incrementally to Point 9 £7,148 per annum for 13 hours a week

Hours: Part Time (13 Hours Per Week / Shift Pattern - Sat & Sun 10am – 2pm, Weekday negotiable 9.30am – 2.30pm)

As a charitable registered provider of short-term social housing operating in Southend-on-Sea, we believe everyone should have a home of their own. At times individuals may require support from HARP and other agencies to maintain a tenancy and avoid a return to homelessness.
We are looking to recruit to our 20-bed Women’s emergency accommodation team in Southend. Your role will be supporting HARP residents with their first move out of homelessness and on to independent living.
To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate patience, politeness and self-control. Organised, adaptable, and a good communicator, you will be enthusiastic and motivated by, a constantly changing and busy environment. We are happy to consider applicants without experience in this field that can demonstrate empathy and an enthusiasm for the role.

HARP will provide you with support and training to carry out your role effectively, and to develop your career. Our benefits package includes 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays with an extra day of leave awarded after 5 years' service (all pro rata for part time employees).
HARP participate in an auto-enrolment pension scheme through The People’s Pension. Where eligible, you and HARP will each be required to make a contribution to the pension scheme. Employees will also become members of the non-contributory HARP Death In Service scheme. Full details of the schemes can be given on request.
